9:45am Social Time ~~~ 10am Meeting

March 3 2010

March meeting: we will be discussing Relay for Life and our part in it. Sheila and Linda Manson are working hard to put this together and we already have our site reserved for this year. We had fun last year walking around meeting so many people and seeing their tents and displays. Let’s have a big turnout from our club!

Guests always welcome!   Remember your Villages ID card!

You have till 2011 to get new ID cards,

get all the details on schedule, costs, hotel at the GFWC Florida website home page. Also, you can sign up to find a roommate if you want to share a room!

Sheila says:

Lots of exciting things coming up during the next couple of months. At the March 3rd meeting we will discussing our participation in Relay for Life in April.

Linda Manson will also be sharing the large number of awards receiving by our members during the recent Districg 7 Arts and Crafts Festival. A special thank you to all who participated. The first place winners will go on to compete in the state Arts and Crafts Festival to be held during FFWC Convention in April in Orlando.

Fran will be giving us an update on our project at Wildwood Elementary at our March meeting.

We will be discussing FFWC Convention and who would like to attend. I would like to see as many attend as possible as this gives us an opportunity to talk to clubwomen from throughout the state and learn about projects they are undertaking.... great chance to get some new project ideas!

And of course keep your luncheon time open after the March 3rd meeting so you can join us for lunch.
