Old Age

When I as young and in my prime

I thought old age was thirty-nine.

Then later on, to my surprise

Old age had jumped to sixty-five.

At ninety now it’s quite conclusive

That old age is a bit elusive

And that it only gets a start

When you’re no longer young at heart.
